JAMMU, June 18: Narcotics Control Bureau organised a seminar on “Menace of Drug Abuse” at Bee Enn Nursing Institute, during which 20 students participated.
On the occasion, Dr Gurmeet Kour, Registrar, Government Psychiatry Hospital was chief guest, who while speaking elaborated drugs and drug addiction with emphasis on improving physical, social, psychological and spiritual well-being of an individual.
KS Chauhan, Zonal Director, NCB highlighted the menace of drug abuse and trafficking in the society and apprised the gathering about various provisions under law.
Rupa Pandita, Principal, Bee Enn Nursing Institute also expressed her views.
Later, trophies were distributed among the top three winners, while certificates were also distributed to all the participating students.
