NC took administration to door-step: Sadhotra

Jammu, Nov 14: Senior National Conference leader Ajay Sadhotra contesting candidate from Marh Assembly Constituency today visited the Tawi island and addressed a largely attended public meeting at village Sum.
Recalling the number of achievements of National Conference during the last six years, he said that he is confident that the National Conference would emerge victorious with majority in the forthcoming Assembly elections. Mr. Sadhotra referred to the commendable job done by Omar Abdullah during the floods that hit the State in the month of September. The villages in the Tawi island also witnessed the fury of the floods causing devastation. The Government swung into action immediately and took the task of rescue and rehabilitation of the affected families on top priority and provided them food and safe shelter.
“Omar Abdullah took a historic decision for the creation of new administrative units through which a large number of people are benefited. He fulfilled his promise and brought the administration at the door-steps of common man by creating new administrative units like Tehsils and Niabat at Mandal Block which are landmark achievements for the benefit of common man to get their revenue related problems solved at their door-steps”, Mr Sadhotra said”.
Ajit Raj Chowdhary while speaking in the meeting appreciated the works done by Mr. Sadhotra and narrated that during the recent floods when the situation was very grim, Mr. Sadhotra took extensive tour of all the villages to take stock of the situation and gave directions to the concerned to redress the grievances of the affected families.
Relief and free ration was provided to the affected families and the visible impact was seen on ground.
On this occasion, Ajit Raj Chowdhary and people from different villages joined the National Conference who were welcomed in the party by Mr. Sadhotra.
