ANANTNAG: National Conference (NC) vice-president Omar Abdullah on Sunday asserted that his party was open to a pre-poll alliance for the upcoming Parliament elections if Congress agrees to its seat sharing formula.
“Yes, we have received an offer from the Congress for a pre-poll alliance. But we are very clear about going ahead with the alliance only if our candidates contest all the Lok Sabha seats in the valley,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of J&K, told reporters on the sidelines of a party function in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
