JAMMU, Sept 20: National Conference (NC) Minority Cell in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its working president, M K Yogi has urged the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita for earlier implementation of decisions and directives given by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah especially regarding the settlement of problems of Jagti migrants.
Mr Yogi in a statement said that some migrant organizations and self styled leaders were spreading wrong information and misleading the community about the policies and programmes of Government and the Apex Committee which is a representative body of the displaced people for their vested interests.
He said the recent decisions taken by the CM in the meeting were in the interests of the displaced people and Committee is for their early implementation.
He said Chief Minister has shown keen interest in settlement of demands including implementation of employment and rehabilitation package, settlement of problems of migrant employees, traders overaged youth and relief holders and Apex Committee has full faith in the same.
