BANIHAL, Nov 1: National Conference (NC) District Ramban President, Sajjad Shaheen today expressed concern over erratic power supply and poor road condition in far-off areas of Banihal.
During his visit to the areas of Neel, Wagan and Khari in Banihal, Shaheen demanded immediate repairs to the transformers and restoration of power supply.
People also complained him about scarcity of drinking water.
Shaheen demanded stocking of adequate quantity of medicines in the health institutions there.
On this occasion several political workers from Congress and PDP joined NC.
Block NC Presidents, Ghulam Rasool Deng and Mohd Ashraf Naik, Haji Mohd Yaseen Deing, Halqa President Mohd Mamtaz Malik and others also accompanied the NC District President.
