JAMMU, May 5: The National Conference (NC) has lashed out at Centre Government and RBI for increasing the Repo Rates which will put extra burden on common man across the nation in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular at this crucial juncture when inflation is all time record high.
The NC leadership issued a joint statement wherein it is said that the decision of RBI at the instance of Centre will lead to excessive burden on common citizen of country and put them under depression and extreme stress.
The signatories to this joint statement included former minister and president Central Zone JKNC Babu Rampaul, Noor Hussain (Ex. MLC), vice president, Dapinder Kour Ex- MLC, Swarn Lata Ex-MLA , Mohd Hussain Ex-MLC, Ashok Atri (Retd DIG), Israr Khan (Retd. DIG,) Amrish Sharma, Sham Lal Mehra, Dilshada Malik, Rita Gupta, Nirmal Singh, Ravi Mahajan, Om Dalmotra, RK Chanyal, Rahul Mahajan, Rakesh Singh, Ravi Kumar, Aslam Chowdhry, B D Dalotra (Retd SP), Prem Singh, Narinder Dutt and others.
NC leaders strongly demanded immediate withdrawal of this increase in Repo rates to control further inflation rise to help common citizens.
