JAMMU, Apr 4: The Central Working Committee (CWC) of ruling National Conference is meeting here for two days on April 6 and 7 to discuss various issues including strategy in the event of pre-poning of Parliament elections in November.
Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister and working president of the party Omar Abdullah would attend the two days strategy session of the party..
All National Conference Ministers, legislators and office bearers comprised the CWC among others.
It would have two days brain storming session on ‘Mission 2014’. Both Parliament and Assembly elections of the State are scheduled for 2014. However, the NC was not ruling out the chances of Parliament elections being preponed to November.
The current political and security scenario would also be discussed in the CWC, sources said, adding that various issues including upcoming tourist season, stress on Indo-Pak dialogue, State-Centre talks, partial withdrawal of AFSPA and the Centre’s response etc would also figure in the meeting.
