JAMMU, Mar 23: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana today constituted two election campaign committees for Udhampur-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituencies besides Campaign Coordination Committee.
Former Minister and National Conference State Secretary Surjeet Singh Slathia will head the Campaign Committee for Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency while the senior leader and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will head the panel for Jammu-Poonch Constituency. The Campaign Coordination Committee will be headed by the State Secretary Rattan Lal Gupta.
The Campaign Committees will coordinate with Vikramaditya Singh and Raman Bhalla, the two Congress candidates respectively for Udhampur-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seats.
The 36-Member Campaign Committee for the Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency, headed by Surjeet Singh Slathia, will comprise Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Th Kashmira Singh, Brij Mohan Sharma, Abdul Gani Malik, Jagjeevan Lal, Iqbal Bhat, Ab Wahid Shan, Dr Chaman Lal Bhagat, Sajjad Shaheen, Ajit Kumar Sharma, Tanveer Kichloo, Romi Khajuria, Dhian Chand, Sagar Chand, Dr Shahshad Shan, Prem Sagar Aziz, K K Bakshi, Dharam Pal Kundal, Bharti Sharma, Qasim Din Bania, Pyare Lal Sharma, Pushpa Dogra, Raj Kapoor, Zafar Ullah Rathar, Riaz Bhaderwahi, Syed Asgar Ali, Mehboob Iqbal, Ch Salam Din, Vijay Lochan, Qasim Din Bania, Neelam Sharma, Ashfaq Chouhan, Qusser Parveen Bhatti and Abdul Gani Teli as its members.
The 54-committee for Jammu-Poonch led by Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will include Surjeet Singh Slathia, Harbans Singh, Mirza Abdul Rashid, Babu Rampal, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Th Rachpal Singh, Ajaz Jan, Javed Rana, Dr Kamal Arora, Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Haji Mohammed Hussain, Master Noor Hussain, Vijay Bakaya, Bimla Luthra, Vijay Lakshmi Dutta, Deepender Kour, Ikhlaq Khan, Jugal Mahajan, Guirdeep Singh Sasan, S S Bunty, Rahim Daad, Satwant Kour Dogra, Qazi Mohd Syed Beig, Bagh Hussain Rathore, Wali Daad, Israr Khan, Shafayat Khan, Vipan Lal Sharma, Bhushan Uppal, Ch. Liaqa Ali Advocate, Som Nath Khajuria, Ch Haroon, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, B R Kundal, Dr Gagan Bhagat, Swaran Lata, Mohinder Gupta, Muzzafar Iqbal Khan, Mohd Aslam Khan, Ch. Nazir Hussain, Hashim Din Quershi, Mumtaz Bazar, Peer Anayat Bukhari, Hameed Rana, Dilshad Malik, Rita Gupta, Mohinder Singh, Dr Gafoor, Naresh Bittu, Abdul Gani Teli,Vijay Lochan, Daljeet Singh and Nar Singh as its members.
The 4-Member Campaign Coordination Committee for the Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary Constituencies will be headed by State Secretary Rattan Lal Gupta and will have Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Anil Dhar and Pradeep Bali as its Members.
According to a spokesman of the party, all the district and block National Conference committees will function as the election committees for the parliamentary elections.
