NC, Congress responsible for sufferings of State OBCs: AIBCU Social

JAMMU, Apr 8: Alleging that National Conference (NC) and Congress have looted the State OBCs under the garb of Article 370, which was otherwise for the upliftment of the State Subjects, All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU), Social, has held both the parties responsible for the sufferings of State OBCs.
Addressing a press conference here today, general secretary of the Union, Prof Kali Dass flayed NC and Congress for depriving the State OBCs of their due share of 27% reservation in the State along with other reservation components like enhancement of creamy layer from Rs 4.5 lakh to 6 lakh and renewable of OSC certificate on the basis of income certificate.
Referring to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, he said those who themselves are biggest communal forces are appealing the State people to stop the communal forces in the State.
Dass accused both Congress and NC of using OBC Advisory and Development Board of which Omar Abdullah is the chairman, against the State OBCs with the help of some self styled OBC leaders such as vice-chairman of the Board, Kuldeep Raj Verma.
He also condemned Omar Abdullah and Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz for suppressing and repressing the qualified youths by bringing new recruitment policy in the State, under which they will be paid Rs 3000 for 1st two years and Rs 5000 for next 3 years.
Keeping in view the misleading politics of National Conference and Congress the Union has decided to uproot them in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, said Dass and appealed the State voters to vote against NC-congress coalition.
Clarifying on news item published in some sections of media regarding OBC’s support to Congress candidates under the presidentship of Mohd Kabir Quershi and Abdul Rashid Shaheen, Dass said union does not support Congress and these persons disguising as OBC leaders are not the members of the Union.
