SAMBA, Nov 16: Chairman National Panthers Party and MLA Ramnagar, Harshdev Singh today alleged that National Conference-Congress ‘Coalition’ was on life saving ventilator and could collapse any moment.
Addressing public rallies at Samba, Dayala Chak and Vijaypur today, the NPP leader criticized the ruling coalition for its alleged failure on all fronts and said that there was strong public resentment against the coalition regime. Mr Singh alleged that NC-Congress coalition was on ventilator and it could collapse any time.
NPP leader further said that inter-party and intra-party rumblings within the coalition would prove fatal for the ruling alliance in the days to come. He alleged that the prevailing chaos, red tapism, mis-governance, corruption, lack of accountability and fractured work culture had adversely affected the functioning of the Government with its credibility being at the lowest ebb. NPP leader said that development works were at grinding halt, planned funds were being siphoned out by the corrupt elements and the Government had utterly failed to prove its existence. Only signs of life were frequent press statements issued in the media by Ministers without even bothered to ensure any follow up action on their announcements, he added.
MLA Udhampur and State president of the party Balwant Singh Mankotia said that Government had lost its moral right to continue in office in view of its multiple failures and rampant corruption. He said both NC and Congress have failed to fulfill the promises made with the people during elections. He urged upon the people to strengthen NPP so that justice could be provided to this region.
MLA Samba and party general secretary Yash Pal Kundal strongly pleaded for the cause of West Pakistani refugees, PoK refugees and other DPs struggling for the last several decades. He sought reservation for SCs/STs and women in the Block Development Councils. Mr Kundal assured that NPP would aggressively fight against discrimination with Jammu region.
