SRINAGAR, Feb 22: A delegation of prominent political activists affiliated with National Conference from Khanyar constituency joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk , here today.
The political activists who joined Apni Party included, Mohammad Irfan Ahmad Langoo, Nazir Ahmad Langoo, Ghulam Nabi Tumaan, Bilal Ahmad Kalaa, Ghulam Mohammad Kanna, Manzoor Ahmad Chanaa, Firdous Ahmad Bhat and Asif Ahmad Khan.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party Provincial president Mohd Ashraf Mir, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District president Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh and others. The new entrants were welcomed by Ashraf Mir who urged them to highlight and resolve the issues faced by the people in Khanyar constituency.
Meanwhile, BJP Block president Bakura-Ganderbal, Javed Ahmad Ahanger also joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Ashraf Mir, DDC vice chairperson Srinagar Bilal Bhat, DDC member Mohammad Shaban Chopan, DDC member Shabir Reshi, In-charge Ganderbal Javid Mir, In-charge Khanyar Constituency Mohammad Yaseen Choodisaaz, Provincial president Youth Wing Kashmir, Khalid Rathore.
Welcoming the new entrant into the party fold, Ashraf Mir impressed upon him to work selflessly for the welfare of the people in his area so that their sufferings are mitigated at an earliest.
On the occasion, Javed Ahanger thanked the Party leadership for providing him with such a platform and avowed to strengthen the party at grass root level.
