JAMMU, Mar 30: Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF) chairperson, Tarun Uppal along with former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta and senior journalist, Sohail Kazmi released a coffee table book titled ‘Chenab (Chandrabhaga) valley-Amazing little Kashmir’ published by Pune based NGO, Sarhad.
Speaking on the occasion Uppal said that friendship between Pune and Chenab valley has been established by the Sarhad and Arham Foundation.
He lauded the development works done by these organizations in Chenab valley and said, “With the release of this book, friendship between Chenab valley and Pune city took a new step and at the same time, Sarhad and Arham took the initiative of highlighting the undiscovered beauty of this Valley with the aim to bring it on tourism map.”
Sarhad’s representative Sanjay Sonawani said because of the book published by Sarhad and Arham, tourists will be attracted towards the beauty of Chenab valley and it will contribute a lot in improving its economy.
He stressed on marketing all the produce from agricultural and handicraft industry of Chenab valley in Pune and Maharashtra.
Arham’s founder, Shailesh Pagaria said that children of Chenab valley should get good education for which they want to open schools of international standard in Chenab valley to provide free and quality education.
