NAUP expresses concern over growing unemployment

JAMMU, Mar 27: National Awami United Party (NAUP) has flayed the alleged non-serious approach of J&K government in solving the unemployment problem in the UT.
In a press conference here today Anil Dev Singh, general secretary NAUP said, from past couple of years recruitment process remained stalled in J&K due to which educated youth are becoming hopeless.
He said that the government must conduct a study on number of educational institutes in J&K and number of graduates coming out of these institutes each year to devise a plan to absorb these graduates otherwise every year the number of unemployed graduates would swell.
On women unemployment, he said that it is shocking that a large number of position holder girls did not get job and finally their life remain restricted inside the four walls of a house.
The NAUP leader also said that the government must bring in private players along with public sector to address the unemployment problem.
Renu Bala, Yoginder Pal, Rakesh Singh, Netar Pal, Naginder Singh and Nitin Singh were also present in the press conference.
