JAMMU, Apr 26: National Awami United Party (NAUP) State Secretary Manmohan Sudan has demanded free parking facility for the people.
Addressing a press conference, Sudan said that Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation has announced that they provide ten minutes free parking but is it possible that a person will come out from a hospital or shopping malls within ten minutes.
He further said that Government must provide free parking for the relief of the people.
He stated that Government is looting the hard earned money on the name of smart challan, smart meters and smart parking and is harassing the Jammuites without any fault.
He appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to visit hospitals and malls to know about the ground reality of drawing the yellow lines.
Other prominent leaders present on the occasion were Vijay Kumar Choudhary alias Kala and Parveen Kumar.
