NAUP demands CBI probe in JMC revenue embezzlement

JAMMU, June 3: National Awami United Party (NAUP) general secretary, Manmohan Sudan has demanded CBI probe into the embezzlement of revenue from hoardings on electric poles.
In a press conference here today Sudan took a cue from the statement of Jammu Mayor, Rajinder Sharma for embezzlement of this revenue.
The NAUP leader quoted the Mayor to say that removal of the hoardings from the poles increased JMC revenue as earlier it use to go to pockets of JMC officials.
Sudan said that the culprits involved in the scam from 2018 onwards should not be allowed to go scot free.
He said that as LG administration has issued an inquiry against those who do wrong but people are still waiting for the action against these culprits.
The NAUP leader demanded that the LG administration should take action and initiate CBI inquiry against all those involved in the scam.
Parveen Kumar, Shammi Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Ashok Singh, Pawan Kumar, Suraj Parkash, Romesh Chander, Shammi Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Rinku, Balveer and Rinku Kumar were also present in the press conference.
