Mind Games play has been conceived, written and directed by Sumeet Sharma.
The play unveils a very common, unconscious and continuous practice of all human beings, chatting with mind and creating baseless abstract stories all the times. The play revolves around a character Ajeet, who represents the mind model of a contemporary man whose rejections, anxiety, likes, dislikes, passions, reasons, fears, emotions, fantasies, dreams, etc. have a lot to share with all of us. The absurd thoughts which he develops create humour but unknowingly we are laughing at our own habits and short sightedness while laughing at him. The theme of the play ‘Mind Games’ reflects the story of one particular character or situation but showcases the instinctive behavior of all human beings.
Sumeet Sharma played the central character of the play ‘Ajeet’, whereas Gaurav Jamwal acted as ‘Krish’, Vineet Sharma as ‘Simran’, Pawan Verma as ‘Boss’ and Rahul Singh as ‘Kumar’. Others who participated in the play included Mohammad Yaseen, Uplaksh Singh Kotwal, Shivam Manhas, Mihikshit Singh, Pankaj Verma, Syed Mudassir, Sakshi Prakash, Shifali Gupta, Avisha Khajuria, Archita Sharma and Shekhar Sharma.
The lights were executed by Suraj Ganjoo and the music was rendered by Mohammad Yaseen and Pawan Verma. The show was coordinated by Neeraj Kant.
