BANDIPORA: A National Lok Adalat comprising of four benches was held under the supervision of chairman District Legal Services Authority Bandipora S.K.Bhagat in Bandipora district Saturday.
899 cases regarding civil, criminal matters, bank suits, electricity disputes and other matters (pending and pre-litigation) were taken up, out of which 691 cases settled amicably in the Lok Adalat. A settlement amount of Rs.72,75,582 was also awarded under the cases during the Lok Adalat.
Three benches were established at District Court Complex Bandipora whereas one bench Lok Adalat was held at court complex Sumbal.
