Leh, Ladakh, Sept 21: The National Conference (NC) organized one day convention in Zansker today. The Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Ahmed Ali Khan Kacho, MLA Zansker, Feroz Khan, district NC president Gulam Hassan Khan, Executive Councilor PWD and Power, Ghulam Rasool Nagvi, district NC general secretary Mr Zakeer Hussain and Executive Councilor for Agriculture & Revenue, Haji Gh. Amir Syed, and councilor, Syeed Razavi were present in the function.
Large number of activist and supporters were participated in one day convention. Hundereds of new member also joined National Conference party. The Chief Executive Councilor and MLA Zansker later highlighted the developmental work of the Government in Zanskar and welcome the new members in the party. He mentioned that Zanskari people were forfeited from their fundamental rights for long and now people understand the political scenario of district Kargil and State. In this convention Tsewang Norbu (Hongchat) was elected as new National Conference president of Zansker.
TseringAngdus councilor from Zansker, thanked the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for fulfilling the various demands of remote Zansker and Luknak block through his personal interventions at every level. He also thanked for the LAHDC, Kargil for their constant support in the developmental activities ofZansker and Luknak block. He also assured the people of Zansker will also have mini-secretariat very soon.
Later the CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, MLA, Zansker and others inaugurated D.G. Set Abran and Newly build District Sub-Hospital building in Zansker. They also laid the foundation stone of Degree College, Zansker.
