Nat Manch stages ‘Maa’

JAMMU, May 10: Nat Manch staged its 214th show in the shape of play “Maa” in its Tuesday Theatre series in its studio at Shakti Nagar Jammu.
The play was written and directed by Tarun Sharma. Through this play the playwright has given a message to the audience that ‘Dogri’ is our mother language and we should take the responsibility to preserve and promote it not only in this region but also in the country and the world. “If we don’t speak our mother tongue ‘Dogri’ and strive for its promotion our coming generation will not be able even to speak what to call of its promotion. They will not be able to know and understand the language and Dogri will become a thing of the past”, said the Director of the play.
The actors who performed in the play included Tarun Sharma, Rishav Salgotra, Priya Kashyap, Anshul Verma, Saksham Talwar, Abhishek Mehra and Ishan Mansotra.
A large number of audience witnessed and appreciated the performance of the artists.
