Nat Manch stages ‘Clever Servant’

JAMMU, Mar 25: Nat Manch staged “Clever Servant-a reality” in the ongoing Tuesday Theatre Series of nukkad natak and play at Nat Manch Studio, Toph Sherkhania.
The play was written and directed by Tarun Sharma renowned theater personality of the State.
The story of the play revolves round the landlord and the servant. One day landlord asked his servant that his duty is to give him 1 litre milk every day. But the servant was very clever and use to drink 400 ml milk self. After mixing water, he (servant) served the milk to landlord. One day a person asked the landlord that his servant is very clever and serve the milk to you after mixing water.
The landlord appointed a second servant for information of first servant day, but the former and later joined hands. Both the servants drink 800 ml milk and after mixing more water serve the milk to landlord.
The person again met landlord and asked him that his both servants are very clever as they mix more water in the milk. After this information, landlord appointed two more servants, who also did the same like two earlier appointed did.
One day landlord asked his four servants that he is feeling very hungry and all of you can not gave me one litre milk. All servants asked the landlord that they gave milk but he was asleep. They (servants) turned down the mirror towards landlord and showed the milk drop on the beard of the landlord.
Through this play, the writer wants to say that landlord in this play is public and servant is the Government. All Government works are done only on papers not in reality.
Those actors who performed in the play were Tarun Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Nikhil Sharma, Aayushman, Sahil and Tilak Raj Sharma.
