JAMMU, Nov 30: The Government has assigned the charge of CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) to Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor NN Vohra as incumbent Jitendra Singh has proceeded on inter-cadre deputation to Jharkhand.
Deputation of Jitendra Singh was recently cleared by the Central Government, official sources said.
Singh, who was an IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre and his wife, who is in Gujarat cadre, had applied for joint posting in one State.
Sources said both of them have been allotted Jharkhand cadre.
Pending posting of new CEO to SMVDSB, Narula will also hold charge of the post in addition to charge of the Principal Secretary to Government and CEO Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
