UDHAMPUR, July 28: Udhampur Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler near Devika temple and seized 10 grams of heroin from his possession.
According to SSP Udhampur, Rajiv Pandey, the accused was identified as Sukhdev Singh alias Monu of Garnai Lota, Rehambal and 10 grams of heroin like substance was seized from his possession. He was apprehended during a naka, led by SHO Udhampur Vijay Singh Choudhary under the supervision of Dr Rohit Chadgal, DySP Hqrs Udhampur and Rajinder Kumar Katoch Addl SP Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 353/2019, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation of the case is taken up.
