JAMMU, Sept 17: A narcotics substance was recovered from high security central jail at Kot Bhalwal here.
As per police sources, central jail authorities recovered some narcotics substance and informed the police.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Khajuria rushed to the spot and seized the contraband. The seized contraband has been sent to laboratory to ascertain its identification.
A case FIR Number 91/2022 under section 8/18 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started to ascertain the source of the contraband.
