JAMMU, Aug 11: Jhajjar Kotli police arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered 90 intoxicant tablets from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, police team from Jhajjar Kotli police station laid a naka at Domail and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 90 intoxicant tablets and arrested the man on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Kaka Ram, a resident of Sirah Sool.
A case under FIR Number 88/15 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Rajinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
