Narayan Singh interacts with biradari members, assures redressal of issues

JAMMU, May 28: President Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K Narayan Singh visited Chenani, Nagmandir Karlah Patnitop and other allied villages in district Udhampur and interacted with the villagers and biradari members.
Accompanied by Nand Lal Tehsil President Rajput Sabha Chenani, Narayan Singh ascertained the problems being confronted by the biradari members of the area.
The biradari members demanded regular visit of the President in their area, so that they could apprise him about the problems being faced by Rajput community.
At Chenani, Tehsil President Rajput Sabha Chenani and other community members raised various issues including construction of Sabha Bhawan at Chenani, declaration of gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh falling on September 23 every year, removal of social evils within the biradari, recruitment of educated youths in Army and belt forces through special drives in the rural areas and reservation to economically weaker sections.
While speaking, President assured the biradari members of constructing the Sabha Bhawan at Chenani for which the land be identified and steps his been initiated for its construction.
As regards to social evils, the biradari members should minimize the expenses on social customs and functions, he said and stated that the issues including special drive for recruitments in belt forces and declaration of gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh have been taken up with appropriate forum.
Among others present were Captain Arjun Singh District President (Rajput Sabha) Udhampur, Pawan Singh Youth President (Rajput Sabha) J&K, Kailash Nath, Jagdev Singh Lambardar Kud, Krishan Singh Ex-Sarpanch Kud, Darshan Singh, Rakesh Singh Ex-Sarpanch,Rashpal Singh, Ramban District, Anu Manhas and Balbir Singh.
