POONCH, July 10: A District level Science Exhibition under ‘Inspire awards scheme 2012’ was organised by DIET, Poonch in its premises, here today.
The function was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, S Jatinder Singh while it was presided over by Principal, DIET, Poonch, Mohammad Iqbal.
During the exhibition, a total of 85 models were displayed by the students out of which first three positions were secured by Nanak Academy, Christ High School and MHSDAV Public School, Nagbani of Poonch respectively.
In consolation level, first and second positions were secured by MHSDAV Public School and GMS Purani Poonch respectively while third position went to Boys HSS Surankote. Mohammad Iqbal distributed prizes among the winners .
