NEW DELHI: Soon after the Rajya Sabha was adjourned sine die on Wednesday, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and about 25 leaders of various parties discussed a range of issues, including functioning of Parliament and judiciary, role and responsibilities of MPs, for around half an hour.
When Modi accompanied by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi and Leader of House Thawar Chand Gehlot came to Naidu’s chamber, several leaders, including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, Ram Gopal Yadav, Satish Chand Mishra, Derek O’Brien, T K Rangarajan, Naresh Gujral and S R Subramanian joined them.
The leaders expressed happiness over the productive Rajya Sabha session. (AGENCIES)
