JAMMU, Jan 18: Four books of three reputed writers and poets were released at a function organized by Nagrad Adbi Sangam here, today.
The books which were released included Shabdeh Prakash and Supne Syndhiya of Master JK Maktoom, Aaprie Bale Yapire of Jawahir Chowgami and Achen Pachiphyr of Roshan Lal Roshan.
The books were released by Dr Farooq Ahmed Lone, Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department who was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Aziz Hajni secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Cultural Academy was the guest of honour while the presidium was shared by Prof P N Trisal, J N Sagar, A K Naaz, president, NAS and Abdul Majid Wani.
A K Naz also read the welcome address. The programme was shared by Civil Society of South Kashmir and Zaffer Farooq Salathia conducted it.
The programme was of two sessions. In the second session a poetic symposium was held in which some well known poets recited their poems. The programme was presided over by P N Shad. It was conducted by A M Wani and the vote of thanks was proposed by Zaffer Farooq Salathia.
