JAMMU, Aug 25: A general body meeting of Anantnag Prabhandak Committee was held here, today under the chairmanship of its president M K Bumbroo.
Addressing the meeting Mr Bumbroo informed the members about the latest developments at Nagbal Anantnag and the renovation work under taken by the Committee. He said the work of boundary wall and path leading to holy springs have been completed and the work on bath rooms will be taken up in hand soon.
Jigan Ji Goja said that Anat Chaturdashi festival falling on September 19 will be celebrated at Nagbal Anatnag this year with religious fervour and gaiety. In this connection Maha Yagya will be performed at the holy shrine. He appealed the community members to participate in the function in large numbers.
The meeting extended full support to Prem Nath Bhat Trust and struggle launched by it for passage of Shrines Bill and demanded that same be passed without further delay. B K Wantoo general secretary of the Committee, Kashmiri Lal Bhat, P N Goja, Hirji Lal Jad and B L Bhat were among others who attended the meeting.
