JAMMU, Sept 11: Moulana Suhaib Qasmi national president of Jammaat Ulama-e-Hind today announced appointment of Maulana Gulam Hussian Nadvi as the president of the J&K Branch of the organization.
Talking to reporters here, he said on the Independence Day all people of Jammu and Kashmir hoisted the National Flags and members of Muslim community also hoisted Tricolours on the houses, Madarsa and mosques. This way the Muslim community proved that they are part and parcel of the India and nationalists by core. As they were earlier away from mainstream after they were misled by politicians having vested interests. In the present changing scenario in J&,K it is responsibility of the religious scholar of Ulama-e-Jammu and Kashmir to guide young generation to adopt the right way . They can play a vital role in the development of J&K, he added.
He said “As we know that the Islam religion is for peace and so we should show the real face of Islam which is in the interest of the nation and Muslim community of J&,K as well”.
He further added that in the period of ,eight years under the supervision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi the country is going ahead in the different fields and spheres of life. He said that after abrogation of Article 370 and 35A there has been drastic change in J&K and UT is fast moving on the path of progress and development.
