KATHUA, Sept 7: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth whose body was recovered from a nallah yesterday evening with multiple head injuries in Kandarnu in Ramkote area of Billawar.
The deceased has been identified as Birender Sharma , 32, son of Pooran Chand of Kandarnu. He was working as a private school teacher. He was missing since yesterday afternoon and after his family members and relatives searched him at different places they found his dead boy in a nullah late in the evening with multiple head injuries.
They reported the matter to police which took the body into its custody and field a case under Section 174 IPC and started investigation.
The family members have turned it a plan murder. The incharge Ramkote Police Post Yash Paul said that police is investigating the matter and two persons have been rounded up for preliminary investigation.
He said that the youth had gone to the nullah for taking a bath along with his other companions but he had a fall and received injuries. But his associates fled from the spot leaving him there. He said that due to the severe head injury the youth fell in the water and died.
