MVD Rajouri suspends 9 DL, one permit for violation of Traffic Rules

RAJOURI, Mar 3: Motor Vehicle Department Rajouri has suspended nine driving licenses and a route permit of a vehicle involved in bovine smuggling, rash driving, overloading, triple riding, and plying two-wheelers without crash helmets.
The suspension was recommended by the Traffic Police and the Motor Vehicle Inspector, ARTO Rajouri, Shammi Kumar said.
As part of the crackdown, a detailed report was prepared regarding the involvement of drivers/vehicles in bovine smuggling, rash driving, overloading, and fatal accidents.
The report was sent to ARTO Rajouri for cancellation/suspension of driving licenses of drivers and route permits of vehicles for their involvement in serious traffic violations.
Consequently, ARTO Rajouri suspended the licenses of the Sachin Sharma (JK1120110002009); Nayamat Ali (JK1120190004356); Mohammad Taseer (JK1120140040385); Mohammad Mushtaq (JK1120170058149); Pankaj Sharma (JK1120120026903); Mohammad Akram (JK1120150052444); Himanshiv Singh (JK1120200003957); Rakshit Anand (JK1120130038644) and Mohammad Arif (JK1120160055186).
In addition, show cause notices have been issued to drivers for violations of provisions of MV Act/Rules. Their driving licenses will be suspended after the completion of the prescribed period.
The ARTO Rajouri has directed all drivers of commercial vehicles, as well as persons driving private vehicles, to obey traffic rules while plying vehicles on the road. Failure to comply will result in strict action, including suspension of route permits of vehicles and driving licenses of violators in the future.
