JAMMU, Mar 4: A team of officers of Motor Vehicles Department, Jammu headed by Regional Transport Officer , Jammu Pankaj Bhagotra today laid naka at Kunjwani, Purmandal and adjoining areas.
The team comprising ARTO Board Of Inspection, Esha Chib, ARTO, Pawan Sharma, MVIs Rajeev Kundal and Ranjeev Bhasin inspected as many as 200 vehicles during the drive.
A fine amounting to Rs 2,56, 000 was realised on the spot from the violators while Rs 1,05000 is expected from the challans .
As many as 55 vehicles were challaned during the drive.
