Muslim Federation delegation calls on Advisor

JAMMU, Jan 31: A deputation of Muslim Federation Jammu (MFJ) today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan and projected several demands.
The visiting deputation, led by MFJ’s president Abdul Majeed, apprised the Advisor of various issues. The delegation demanded expansion of Gujjar Nagar graveyard, parking slots and beautification of Gujjar Nagar area.
The deputation informed the Advisor that the people of the area are facing problem in the burial of deceased due to insufficient space at the existing graveyard.
They further informed that absence of parking facility in the area lead to frequent traffic jams and the people in the area face immense hardships.
The Advisor gave a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned quarters for speedy redressal.
