Musical Play ‘Nashe Nai Karna’ staged

JAMMU, June 2: Under the direction of Dr. M.L Dogra, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Welfare Department J&K and Sangam Tru Art Production here today presented Dogri Musical Play ‘Nashe Nai Karna’ at Project Model School, Janipur.
A pledge was also taken by more than 120 students and teachers which was administered by Chahat Chadha and a certificate by Ministry of Social Justice was given to Principal of the host School.
The programe was inaugurated by chief guest Vivek Sharma, Principal of the School.
Among guests of honour were Seema Koul, Rupali and senior teachers of the School.
The chief guest said that Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment which is the Nodal Ministry for Drug Demand Reduction.
The welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman.
K.K Joshi, vice chairman BLSKS said their volunteers and outreach workers have gone door-to-door to educate the people about ill effects of drug abuse.
Singers, musician and actors who performed in the programme were Usha Raina, K.K Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Chahat Chadha, Bindia Okheda, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Vandana Gupta, Sunil Kumar Dalotra, Rahul Kumar, Afroz Aalam, Zaffer Hussain and Paramjeet.
