KISHTWAR, Oct 19: A long-standing manhunt for a murder accused ended successfully today after the cops here arrested the accused evading arrest for the last five years.
While sharing details in this regard, SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal said that a team of Kishtwar police gathered information about the accused person, a suspect in the case of FIR number 04/2018 Under Sections 302/341/34/RPC.
On this information a dedicated team of cops led by Inspector Sam Pal Gill, SHO Police Station Warwan under the supervision of SDPO Marwah, Devindar Singh Bandral pursued leads and raided a suspected location and arrested the accused from Shopian.
The arrested person was identified as Nazir Khatana, son of Haji Yaqoob Khatana, resident of Kot in Reasi.
