JAMMU, Sept 5: A fresh case has been registered against a murder accused for assaulting police escort party.
As per police sources, a police party escorted murder accused identified as Sunny Choudhary alias Sunny Baba, son of late Ramesh Chander of Nai Basti District Jammu to Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) for medical examination on the directions of 1st Additional Session Judge.
The accused assaulted the police escort party including SI Churmani of District Police Lines (DPL) Kathua.
On the written complaint of SI Churmani, a case under FIR Number 161/19 under sections 382, 353, 332, 504 and 427 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar against Sunny Baba and investigation started.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sunny Baba is involved in a case registered under FIR Number 66/14 under section 302 RPC (murder) with Police Station RS Pura.
