JAMMU, Sept 12: Showing solidarity with the people of the State, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh (ABSMS) has come forward to help in the relief operations and decided that all the municipal employees including officers and workers of Jammu division will donate their one day salary towards the CM Relief fund.
In a meeting of ABSMS held here today under the chairmanship of its State president, Dev Anand Gill, all the members expressed sympathy with the affected people. After detailed discussion with all other heads of other unions it was decided that municipal employees will donate their one day salary for flood victims of the State in Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
Speaking on the occasion, Dev Anand Gill said that in this tough time, Municipal Employees are standing with affected people of the State. He added that beside contributing one day’s salary all municipal employees will work to clean the flood affected areas of Jammu under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner, Jammu, Kiran Wattal.
