JAMMU, Apr 17: In an initiative by White Knight Corps, a National Integration Tour of students from classes 6th to 9th of Mumbai schools visited the Crossed Swords Division today.
The students comprising of 39 boys and 30 girls alongwith their school staff were taken to the tourist places in Akhnoor including Akhnoor Fort, Gurdwara, Parashuram Temple, Pandav Gufa and the ancient Ambaran Site.
The group will be given an exposure to the life of soldiers of Indian Army and will also be visiting the forward location along the Line of Control (LoC) tomorrow.
The theme of the tour ‘Know Your Army’ amplifies the aim of this tour to showcase the sacrifice and commitment undertaken by the Indian Army.
A similar tour of Dalhousie Public School, Dalhousie was conducted in the Crossed Swords Division in the first week of April.
