UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: Department of Information Udhampur organized a Multilingual Mushaira on social evils, here today.
Various prominent and budding poets of the district including Jia Lal Jia, D Kotwal, Avdesh Narayan Mishra, Surjeet Singh Hosh, Jagdeep Dubey, Dr. M.R. Bhamagi, Bachiter Singh Beragi, Madan Kundal, Ram Krishan, Ashok Kumar, besides budding poets Joginder Kumar, Surinder Kumar etc participated in the Mushiara and presented their poetic verses touching all aspects of society.
Deputy Director Emplo-yment, Udhampur, Sandesh Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of Information Department for organizing such an event. He said that the interaction of young poets with established one in the district would go a long way in shaping the talent of students in poetry.
The efforts made by the young poets were also appreciated by the audience present on the occasion.
