KATHUA, Apr 15: JKPCC Vice President, Mula Ram flayed the BJP for having done nothing for the people of Kathua and Hiranagar Assembly segments despite remaining in the State and Centre for the last five years.
Intensifying election campaign in support of Vikramaditya Singh, Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Kathua-Udhampur Constituency at Govindsarm and Nagri in Kathua and Mathrai Chak in Hiranagar, Mula Ram said that BJP has not fulfilled even a single promise among those made by it during campaign last time.
He said that divisive politics of BJP is detrimental to the growth and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir which is facing peculiar problems on economic and political fronts that need unique treatment with a sense of urgency.
Accompanying the Mula Ram was Hari Singh Chib, President District Congress Committee Jammu Rural.
Speaking on the occasion Chib asked the people of Kathua and Hiranagar to go through the manifesto launched by the Congress party.
He said that Congress which has a history of 125 years of serving the people of the country has always taken care of poor and downtrodden sections.
The meeting was arranged by Nathu Ram, Naib Sarpanch at Govindsar Kathua. Those who were present in the meetings were Rashid Ahmad, Sat Pal, Bansi Lal, Radhey Sharma, Kamal Chand and others.
