Mughal road mishap toll 3

JAMMU, May 22: Two more youth who were critically injured in a car accident on Mughal Road, near Bafliaz  in Surankote Sub Division of Poonch  last evening,  succumbed to injuries in Jammu last night.
With this, the death toll in this tragic road accident at Noori Chhamb has reached up to three. A youth namely, Mustafa Ahmed (24)  of Kallar Morha, was killed on the spot last evening.  Four injured were shifted to Surankote hospital where BMO Surankote, Dr Javed Khan after providing preliminary treatment referred all the four seriously injured to GMC Hospital, Jammu in ambulances.
Sub Divisional Police Officer, Surankote,  Asgar Malik (DySP) told the Excelsior that  Mohd Arif (24), son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Bhata Durian in Mendhar ,  succumbed to injuries on the way somewhere in Kalidhar area between  Akhnoor  and Bhambla, while third youth,  Umar Khan (18), son of Farooq Khan, resident of Bhata Durian (Mehndar), passed away in GMC Hospital, Jammu. Their dead bodies arrived at their village  during morning. He said two injured are still in GMC Hospital, Jammu.
The SDPO further said that all the youth who are said to be mostly  shopkeepers  and  good friends planned to visit Pir Ki Gali on Sunday.   They had gone to  Pir Gali for enjoyment  only. The eyewitnesses  revealed that  their Alto car was over speeding and the driver failed to negotiate a curve and lost control over the vehicle.  It landed into the nallah and fell on the rocks.  One of them was killed on the spot. The condition of other two injured boys  is said to be stable in Jammu hospital, Malik said.
