Mufti spends 5th day in AIIMS

JAMMU, Dec 28: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today spent fifth consecutive day in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi as he maintained fever despite administering of antibiotics.
Official reports said a team of top eight doctors of the AIIMS will meet jointly at 9 am tomorrow to devise fresh strategy for medical treatment of the Chief Minister as he remained admitted in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the premier health institute for fifth day today, maintaining fever, which was not coming down.
The top eight doctors of the AIIMS, who will be meeting on the health condition of Mufti Sayeed included Dr Rita Sood, Professor of Medicines, Prof Mohammad Ashraf Ganaie, Endocrinologist, Prof PN Dogra of Urology and Dr Tulika Seth of Hematology among others.
The Chief Minister was, however, taking food orally and was inter-acting well with doctors.
It may be mentioned here that Sayeed was airlifted to New Delhi on Thursday from Srinagar and admitted in the AIIMS due to high fever.
