SRINAGAR, Sept 8: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, today expressed grief over the sad demise of noted businessman and his childhood friend, Makhan Lal Dhar, who passed away today.
The Chief Minister drove straight to the residence of late ML Dhar at Karan Nagar to personally convey his condolences to the bereaved family. “Dhar was a close friend. In his death I have lost a dear companion,” he said.
Advisor to the Chief Minister, Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister stayed with the family members for some time and expressed sympathy with them on the great loss they have suffered. He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
