SRINAGAR, Apr 12: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today visited Sopore to personally convey his condolences to the bereaved family of veteran Congress leader and former Minister, Ghulam Rasool Kar, who passed away on Friday.
Paying rich tributes to Kar, Mufti Sayeed described him as a towering personality who spent his entire life in the service of the people. “The void left behind by his demise will be difficult to fill,” he stated.
The Chief Minister stayed with the family members of the deceased leader and expressed sympathies with them on the great personal loss. He offered Fateha and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Minister for Public Works, Floriculture, Gardens & Parks, Syed Altaf Bukhari, and Minister for IT, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Imran Raza Ansari.
