JAMMU, Aug 1: Under ‘Team for Humanity’, DDB Mudra Group has invited global sports and marketing community to come together for fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
A handout of the Group stated that fans, teams, leagues, associations, sportspeople, brands, networks, media, influencers, NGOs etc in India and abroad should join hands to help in humanity’s fight against COVID.
“Over a million families have been impacted by COVID and estimates suggest that over 250,000 have lost their wage earners. They are being pulled into abject poverty, saddled with the unpaid loans for the medical bills of the deceased and often without recourse to funds to manage shelter, food or education for the children. These families need help to get back on their feet,” the handout stated.
It claimed that all the money the Group raise will go to the families that have lost their breadwinners to COVID.
It further stated that the fund raiser page for this on ‘Give India’ is running the initiative ‘Team for Humanity’ at-
