SRINAGAR, June 1: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal inaugurated new Business Unit (BU) premises of J&K Grameen Bank at Pathla, Baramulla.
RK Chhiber, Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank, large gathering including traders, businessmen, farmers and constituents of the bank were also present on the occasion.
DDC highlighted the role of the bank in providing hassle free credit and other banking services to the rural populace and hoped that the bank will improve further in providing better services with latest technological advancements and make affordable credit available to the general public at their doorsteps.
On the occasion, DDC requested the audience to activate the PMJDY accounts by depositing their small savings.
