JAMMU, Oct 10: The Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) in its programme of interacting with migrant education employees in different camps schools today visited Government Mixed HSS Durga Nagar Jammu under the chairmanship of Ramesh Riana.
During the meeting the staff members highlighted various issues confronting the displaced teachers. They expressed concern over the huge variations in GPF schedules issued by Funds Organization. They urged the Association to get the accounts computerized by taking up the matter with the concerned authorities.
The other demands highlighted included adjustment of teachers promoted as masters in migrant schools, adjustment of Class Fourth employees in these schools and providing of adequate infrastructure in these schools. They also stressed on expanding circle of membership drive.
Ramesh Raina president of the Association in his address said that Association will leave no stone unturned in getting the grievances redressed with the support of teachers.
Bal Ji Marhata, S K Razdan, Rajesh Bhagati also addressed the meeting which was among others was attended by Vinod Dhar, Muno Ji Pandita and Venjan Raina,
