JAMMU, July 2: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) called on Joint Director, School Education Incharge Migrants and submitted a charter of demands for betterment of camp schools to him.
The delegation which was led by president of the Association Ramesh Raina informed Joint Director about the shortage of lecturers and infrastructure in these schools.
The Association demanded the early adjustment of lecturers in these schools so that the future of the children is not compromised.
The delegation also demanded that a mechanism be created in the department for the adjustment and of promotee masters and headmasters in camp schools. It also demanded that transfers in Jagti school be made on rotation basis, strengthening of infrastructure and updating of seniority lists.
