MTWA appeals for adjustment of migrant masters, lecturers

JAMMU, Mar 3: Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Bal Ji Marhatta to discuss the burning issues of migrant Education Deptt employees, here today.
The members hoped that the Govt will redress the problems of the migrant employees of Education Department as well as the migrant Schools in Jammu.
The Association appealed the Government to adjust the newly promoted masters/lecturers, who were promoted in the year 2013-14 in migrant schools at Jammu, instead of posting in Kashmir/Ladakh and other far-flung areas as there is dearth of subject teachers and lecturers in migrant institutions in Jammu.
The Association also demanded to create more migrant schools in the areas where migrants reside in large numbers, so that migrant students do not suffer and help the cause of adjustment of the migrant Education Deptt. employees.
Meanwhile, the Association framed the executive body members including Rajesh Bagati (Secretary), Vinod Bhasin (Cashier), Munoji Pandita (Publicity Secretary) and Raju Koul (Organizing Secretary).
Prominent among others present in the meeting were Rupesh Koul, Vinod Dhar, Ashok Lalpuri, Sushil Razdan, Ramesh Padroo and Satish Ji.
